Alexa Chung has teamed up with Barbour once again to design a capsule inspired by the heritage’s brands archive. I absolutely love this ‘Julie’ coat! It is made from heavy-duty gabardine blended with breathable cotton and has a loose fit. Shop the look below.
Cosy knits for days.
One of my investments this season, was this beautiful tech-cotton (water repellent) trench coat by one of my favourite sustainable brands. I went for a size 34 (the smallest size available) as it is naturally oversized. This beautiful neutral colour goes with so many outfits, and I know I will be wearing this versatile trench for years to come.

Current favourite bags

I have finally invested in Bottega Veneta’s ‘Cassette’ bag in black with gold hardware, and I am loving the look of SAINT LAURENT ‘Cassandra’ medium off-white textured-leather tote, as well as 1955 Horsebit bag by Gucci. If you are looking to invest in a bag that is under £2000 mark, then keep on reading.

Bottega Veneta’s Cassette bag

Daniel Lee’s blown-up take on Bottega Veneta’s intrecciato weave creates perfectly shaped squares, which is why Danish stylist Pernille Teisbaek likens this ‘Cassette’ bag to a chocolate bar. The structured, ’90-inspired silhouette is crafted from two layers of soft leather that’s thickly padded so it feels soft and puffy. Wear the adjustable strap cross-body or tuck it inside to carry as a clutch. The leather is supple, but durable and you can’t really scratch it. (I only buy durable bags and this one ticked all the boxes for me)

Saint Laurent’s Cassandra bag

Next one up, is Saint Laurent’s ‘Cassandra’ tote is named after Adolphe Mouron Cassandre, who designed the label’s iconic interlocking logo which doubles as a clasp fastening on this medium version. It’s been made in Italy from textured-leather and opens to a smooth interior with two separate compartments. Attach the longer strap to wear it cross-body. Its a very structured bag and I love the polished look it gives to every outfit.

Gucci 1955 bag

Gucci only revived its ‘1955’ style a few seasons ago, but it’s already set to be the next It bag – both Sienna Miller and Adwoa Aboah have been spotted carrying it. Made in Italy from the house’s signature monogrammed coated-canvas, it has a saddle silhouette and is trimmed with leather. It also comes in all leather and I really can’t decide which style I love more. Gucci has incorporated horsebits into its leather pieces since the early ’50s – it’s one of the industry’s most recognizable symbols. It has multiple compartments and a zipped pocket to keep your essentials organized. The adjustable strap fits comfortably over the shoulder, making it a perfect city bag.
